Challenges: Multi-site support, custom forms and intranet dashboard

Health Carousel approached us to take over technical support and development for multiple digital properties, including HC Travel Nursing, Passport USA, and HC International. The project involved various challenges like enhancing the UX of complex multi-step forms that required custom development to integrate with Health Carousel’s CRM, creating an intranet dashboard with role-based content display, and building a dedicated website for their Nursing Careers Week event within tight deadlines.

A particular challenge was designing a dynamic intranet dashboard that could serve both HC Travel Nursing and Passport USA from a single Webflow project and CMS. The dashboard needed to adjust content based on user parameters without requiring separate platforms, streamlining management and enhancing content accessibility for the HC team.

Our solution

We began by improving the UX of complex, multi-step forms on Health Carousel’s properties. To meet the technical requirements, we implemented custom development to ensure seamless CRM integration and enhanced user experience, overcoming Webflow’s limitations for advanced form functions.

For the intranet dashboard, we created a single, dynamic Webflow environment that serves both HC Travel Nursing and Passport USA. Using custom code, the dashboard detects a parameter in the user’s cookie upon login, displaying relevant content based on their access point. This allows Health Carousel’s team to manage both dashboards from a single CMS, significantly reducing administrative overhead and making updates easier and more efficient. To add a personal touch, we integrated custom Zaps that pull in employee birthdays from their CRM and display them on a weekly basis within the dashboard.

Health Carousel also needed a dedicated website for their Nursing Careers Week event. The client asked us if we could use the template they bought, so we built and launched the page in under a week, thanks to prompt content inputs from Health Carousel’s team.

In addition to these primary projects, we also developed multiple custom landing pages and functionalities to support Health Carousel’s ongoing initiatives, tailoring each to meet specific campaign and operational needs.

The results

Health Carousel now enjoys an easy-to-use digital ecosystem that allows them to manage multiple properties with simplicity and no technical knowledge. The custom intranet dashboard, with its role-based content display and CRM integration for employee recognition, has simplified internal communication and provided a more unified experience across HC Travel Nursing and Passport USA.

The enhanced multi-step forms now deliver a smoother user experience, supporting high engagement while seamlessly feeding data into Health Carousel’s CRM. The Nursing Careers Week website launched on time, providing an effective platform to engage audiences during the event.
