Challenges: Complete brand redesign and migration from WordPress
Builder Prime approached us with a vision to completely redesign their website and migrate it from WordPress to Webflow. The primary focus was to craft a design that resonates with their core audience - field workers like electricians, parquet installers, etc. - while also reflecting their updated brand guidelines (CGP).
This project was a unique opportunity for us to work in a different niche, pushing our design capabilities. Additionally, Builder Prime's existing website had a lot of content, including blogs, webinars, and podcasts, which needed to be seamlessly migrated and organized into a cohesive "Resource pages" section. Improving the site’s speed compared to their old WordPress setup was also a major priority - which we successfully handled.
Our solution
We began by creating a design that was centered around Builder Prime’s typical customer, putting field workers in the spotlight. This approach helped personalize the platform, making it more relatable and appealing to their target audience. The new design also incorporated Builder Prime’s CGP, maintaining consistency across the website.
Migrating the website from WordPress to Webflow involved careful planning to ensure all content was transferred accurately. We consolidated diverse types of content (blogs, webinars, and podcasts) into an organized “Resource pages” section, providing easy navigation and access to information. To boost site performance, we implemented a series of optimizations that significantly improved load times compared to their old WordPress site.
We also integrated HubSpot, allowing users to register for webinars and schedule demo calls directly through the site, streamlining the lead generation process and providing Builder Prime with enhanced tracking and analytics capabilities.
Migration from WordPress
The migration process required a strategic approach to handle a large amount of content, including blogs, webinars, and podcasts. We ensured that all media was neatly categorized under “Resource pages,” creating a cohesive hub for visitors to access relevant information. Our goal was to make content updates and additions simple for Builder Prime’s team, offering flexibility and ease of use on the new platform. In addition to content migration, we prioritized speed improvements, which led to faster page load times and a better overall user experience.
The results
Builder Prime's new Webflow website launched successfully after about 2 months, showcasing a clean, engaging design that resonates with their audience of field workers. The improved layout makes it easier for visitors to find and engage with content, while the HubSpot integration facilitated seamless registration for webinars and demo calls.
Switching to Webflow brought several key advantages: With everything from hosting to security and SEO built into Webflow, Builder Prime no longer needed to manage multiple plugins, freeing their team to focus on what truly matters. Unlike WordPress, where plugins can introduce compatibility issues and security risks, Webflow eliminates these concerns. The ease of updating and adding new elements in Webflow means that Builder Prime can implement changes faster and more efficiently without relying on developers.
